During the Covid-19 Pandemic our office will be following the guidance of the WHO, CDC, AMA, as well as following the directive of the State of Florida and National Executive Orders, by limiting our in office appointments however we happily offer telehealth, virtual, telephone and text options to ensure no interruption of care whenever possible.
We ask during this time that all of our at risk patients visually inspect their feet daily and call immediately for any concerns or problems, no matter how small. For any patient experiencing pain, or have questions do not hesitate to call us immediatley to see what we can offer to help during this difficult time.
The health and safety of our patients and staff are our main priority now, and always. Due to the unusual and unfortunate circumstances we are taking the following measures:
1-During the Stay At Home Executive order we will our patients to allow us to reschedule routine appointments, however we will still see urgert or emergent patients in office by appointment.
2-We are offering teleheath and virtual appointment for any patients needing any services, and we ecourage you to request converting your appointment to one of those options. These are easy to accomplish utilizing email, video-call platforms that simply require patient to click an emailed link, text messaging and telephone. All options are HIPAA compliant to maintain your safety and security. Most insurers are waiving coinsurance and copays for this service during this pandemic to help us in maiking patient safety a priority.
3-For those needing to be seen in office during this time, we are asking that facial masks be worn by patients and staff, and that patients help us limit the number of people in our office by not having guests accompany you to the appointment unless they are needed as part of your care team. Our goal is to have no more that 2 persons in our lobby at any time to minimze social contact
We are happy to have you message us when you are in our parking lot, and we can check you in and call you when we can take you to your treatment room immediately.
For our new patients, we have our paperwork that needs completed available by downloading from our website. If you for any reason cannot acces this, please call our office and we will happliy help you fill it out over hte phoe, simply requiring your signature when presenting to office for your appointment.
4-Additional disinfection measures are being taken with full facility disinfection performed daily, as well as lobby and treatment room disinfection of all surfaces and furniture between patients.
5-At this this time we ask every person entering our office to use hand sanitizer upon entry, and we will also take temperature with a non-touch thermometer. Any showing symptoms as provide by the CDC, or with a temperature above normal range we will ask to reschedule until feeling better.
